Have you seen the whimsical headbands and gloves we are now carrying at the store? They are made from Peruvian alpaca wool and acrylic fibers. They are toasty warm and have arrived just in time to greet the cold weather!

We fell in love with these designs when we saw them at our WBU franchise trade show this past summer. The designs are a Painted Bunting, a Chickadee, Frog, Deer, Fox, Cardinal, Bee, and YES that is a GRINCH hat!

These fun headbands and gloves are from the Peruvian Trading Company. Started in 1993 by the husband-and-wife team of Patricia and Javier Dam, the Fair-Trade Company is based in Lima, Peru and they have an awesome feel-good story to share with us.

Peruvian Trading Company works exclusively with a network of family knitters in Lima’s outlying communities to create their clothing. Since partnering with the company, knitters say they:

• Receive better wages – double that of what other businesses pay
• Can purchase better food for their children
• Can better educate their children – many sending them to pre-college and college

We LOVE this feel-good story and love these products! We hope you do too!
